How long have you been in business?

Marinas Catering was established in 2012. We started catering small to mid-sized events for family, friends, public schools, and fundraising events. Business began to grow at a great pace, which allowed us to expand into weddings, large-scale banquets, and corporate events at venues.

How many weddings do you cater per year?

With our expansion into the wedding market, we cater over 100 weddings a year.

Are you fully licensed and insured?

Marinas Catering is a fully licensed and insured company. We can also adjust our insurance coverage based upon the requirements of the venue.

Are you licensed to serve alcohol?

YES. We are licensed to not only serve alcohol, but we are licensed to sell you the alcohol as well through the State of Florida.

What cities and surrounding areas do you cover?

Marinas Catering is based in the Central Florida area; however, we are more than willing to travel where you need our services. We have traveled to areas like Jacksonville, Tampa, and as far south as West Palm Beach.

Do you require a minimum number of guests?

We do require a minimum of 50 guests to provide full-service at your events

Are there any extra fees for setup, breakdown, and travel?

Because we do offer delivery and full-service options, there is a small service fee added of $150 to your Invoice.

How far in advance should your services be secured?

We suggest that you secure your date as soon as you are able. Our company policy is that we do not double book events. We cater one event per day, so when your date is gone, it is gone. We have secured dates as far as two years in advance.

Do you have menu options for those with special dietary restrictions?

Yes, we are more than capable of providing menu options for those with dietary restrictions. We offer some vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options.

Will you provide a catering manager to remain onsite for the duration of the event?

Catering Managers do remain onsite for the entire duration of the reception dinner.

Do we have to work from a preset menu or can you create a custom menu for our event? If I have a special dish I'd like served, would you accommodate that?

We do have a preset menu; however, we will try to accommodate your needs and requests for special dishes.

If we use an outside cake designer, do you charge a cake-cutting fee?

Unfortunately, we do not cut other cake designer's cakes.

Do you offer menu tastings and is there a charge for this?

Yes, we do offer food tastings for a flat fee of $75. Contact us to schedule yours TODAY !

What is your policy on cleanup?

Marinas Catering is responsible for cleaning up the buffet area and bussing all the tables after dinner and before leaving the venue. Please note, Marinas Catering does not remain onsite for the entirety of the event. End of the night cleanup after we leave is the responsibility of the client.

What is the last date by which I can give you a final guaranteed guest count?

The final guest count must be received no later than thirty (30) days prior to the event date.

What is your payment policy? Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we do accept credit cards with a 3.5% service fee. We also offer monthly payments on all contracts.
